A year long residency at London's first co-working space for writers
The residency is targeted towards emerging women of colour writers who are working on their first independent project. The selected writer will gain access to a holistic environment that offers the time and space to write without interruptions. They will also be able to attend workshops and events at CLEAN PROSE as well as all POSTSCRIPT events free of charge. The residency is being funded by donations made through our MUSES Portraits Silent Auction.
Located in Shoreditch, the residency is open to London based writers only and will commence in January 2020.
- Applicants should have a specific writing project they are working on during their residency such as a screenplay, poetry collection or novel.
- Applicants must not have published an independent body of work to date, for example, novels, screenplays, poetry collections etc.
- Applications are now open and close 5th of December. The recipient will be notified December 19th.
To apply: Writers should send a writing sample of up to 3000 words. Writing samples can be one of the following: a short story, 3 poems, the first scene from a screenplay or the first chapter of an unpublished novel to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “POSTSCRIPT Residency Application”.
